Futurelife from PepsiCo provides varying ranges of products and services to your liking

Futurelife was launched in 2007 in KwaZulu-Natal. Paul Saad is the person behind the brand and he wished to have food with all the nutrients present. The first cereal product was launched in 2009, and it was a direct hit against ProNutro by Pioneer Foods.

Pioneer Foods bought some shares in Futurelife in the year 2015. The parent company, PepsiCo, which now owns Pioneer Foods, took full control of Futurelife this year.

Futurelife is expanding at a very high speed. The first shop opened in Ocean Mall in Umhlanga. And now, they've got a second one in Canal Walk, Cape Town and a third one is in Gauteng.

Furturelife has alot of outlets varying from different ranges, from cafes that sell coffee to stores that sell smoothies, yogurts, muffins, and oat cups. They have a clothes line-up too.

The CEO of PepsiCo SA, Riaan Heyl, says they're doing this to get closer to the consumers. They want to provide healthier options and make people aware of what they are consuming.

Cooking demos and tasting sessions are in the stores. It's about educating people.

They recently opened a manufacturing facility costing R75 million and in the Dube Tradeport Special Economic Zone in KwaZulu-Natal.

Futurelife is giving others a tough competition with health options, diet recommendations and others.

It needs to be seen how people will accept the brand as such and how well they grow in the years to come.
