Saqr Ghobash Engages in Parliamentary Cooperation Talks with Comoros Parliament President

 

The Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates hosted His Excellency Engineer Mustadran Abdo, President of the Federal Parliament of the Union of the Comoros, and his delegation in Abu Dhabi to explore ways to strengthen parliamentary cooperation.

During the meeting, His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, President of the Federal National Council, emphasized the importance of fostering closer ties between the two nations. They discussed enhancing parliamentary cooperation through the exchange of visits and increasing coordination on issues of mutual concern. Both parties highlighted the positive growth in relations, particularly in the fields of economy, trade, and investment.

Engineer Mustadran Abdo expressed gratitude for the warm reception, noting his country's eagerness to further develop cooperation with the UAE. He praised the UAE’s efforts in promoting peace and stability regionally and globally, and both leaders underscored the value of advancing parliamentary dialogue on platforms like the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Arab Parliamentary Union.
