The President of the United Arab Emirates begins an official working visit to Egypt

 

During His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's official visit to Egypt, he and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attended a ceremony honoring graduates of the Egyptian Military Academy and Colleges. Upon their arrival at the academy, they were warmly received by senior military officials, including Lieutenant General Abdel Majeed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces. The event also included a guard of honor and the playing of both nations' national anthems.

In a symbolic gesture, the two leaders participated in a flag-raising ceremony, with helicopters flying the flags of the UAE, Egypt, and the Egyptian military branches overhead. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed his gratitude for the warm reception by signing the VIP visitors' book and extended his wishes for Egypt's continued success and development.

Also present at the ceremony were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-President of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, along with other members of the UAE delegation accompanying His Highness.
