I believe the global community must look beyond the physical smoke and recognize that innocent worshippers were systematically targeted during the chaos, joining more than 30 people brutally killed in the region over recent months. Following the attacks, religious bodies issued a heartbreaking plea for immediate intervention, highlighting the targeted nature of these organized assaults against Orthodox Christians specifically. This recurring brutality exposes a profound failure in local protection, allowing paramilitary factions or insurgent groups to conduct targeted raids with chilling precision and zero accountability.
