SA vs AUS 2023 ODI series: Temba Bavuma will lead South Africa as captain

The South African Cricket Board, which oversees both amateur and professional cricket in the country, has unveiled their roster for the ODI World Cup in 2023. Temba Bavuma is a member of the 15-man squad that Cricket South Africa has chosen. 

Temba Bavuma has been chosen as South Africa's ODI World Cup captain in 2023. In a five-match ODI series beginning on Thursday, Temba Bavuma will also captain South Africa against Mitchell Marsh's Australian team.

Australia and South Africa's five-match ODI series is crucial for both teams as they prepare for the widely anticipated ODI World Cup 2023, which will be held in India.


ODI matches between South Africa and Australia in 2023

The 2023 SA vs  AUS ODI series will begin on September 7. The final ODI game will occur on September 17. At Bloemfontein's Kingsmead, Mangaung Oval, the opening ODI will be played.

The second ODI will be played on September 9 at Bloemfontein's Mangaung Oval. 

On September 12, the third ODI will be contested at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom. On September 15, the fourth ODI will be played at SuperSport Park in Centurion.
