Threads Introduces a Keyword Search Feature to Help Users Find Posts

Threads, Meta's text-based social networking platform, is expanding the availability of a new Keyword Search function to more countries in order to improve user experience.

Users can search for certain keywords on the platform's mobile and browser editions. It is now available in English and Spanish, with future intentions to expand to other languages.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta (formerly known as Facebook), announced the feature's release and hinted at possible future updates. The company aims to become global and cater to a variety of languages and countries.

Threads has had issues despite a successful start. The network acquired 50,000 daily active users in July, but has since suffered a substantial reduction in user count, with barely 10 million members remaining. Since its high in early July, daily usage has dropped by more than 80%.

Threads had a bright begin with over 10 million sign-ups in seven hours and 100 million users on its first day. However, it appears to have had difficulty maintaining its user base and interest.

The feature has been spread to several nations, including the United States, India, Argentina, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. It indicates that Meta is attempting to reach a worldwide audience.

The organization understands the value of different languages and intends to expand the feature to other languages in the future.

Threads can now be accessed on your laptop or desktop via its web version. To do so, launch a web browser on your computer and navigate to the Threads website.

If you already have a Threads account, sign in with the username and password from the Instagram account that is linked to your Threads account.
