Davido in legal trouble over non-performance at concert

Davido lands in trouble after he did not perform at a concert slated for the 6th of October in Warri, Southern Nigeria, despite receiving the full payment for it in advance. Davido claims to have informed the organizers of his non-availability, but the latter say they did not receive any information.

Davido received full payment of $94,600 from Brownhill Events Inc but did not honor the contract.

The Nigerian singer states he was in confusion as his name was used to promote the concert. He waged an apology to his fans over the confusion and said he will definitely have a concert soon in his region which will be bigger and better.

The organizers of the Warri Again Concert have disputed the claims.

The organizers of the Warri Again Concert are in preparation to take legal action against Davido for breach of contract and are looking for getting a full refund from the singer.
