Springboks emerge winners: Rugby World Cup 2023

South Africa’s Springboks won their fourth World Cup title after defeating the All Blacks 12-11 in Paris. They are the second team to win two consecutive world cups.

Their minute observation and not allowing rain to affect their game is the reason why they reigned supreme in the finals. It was a complete combination of precision, focus and speed that worked for the winning team.

Springboks efforts to push the limits is what helped clinch the title.

They were pitted against some of the stalwarts including the likes of Ireland and Scotland. They then faced and defeated the hosts France in the quarter-final. In the semi- finals they faced England and emerged victorious. In the finals, they took on the All Blacks of New Zealand and won a tightly fought battle.

Interestingly, both Springboks and All Blacks were looking to win their 4th title and in the end, the Springboks laid claim to it.
