The UAE has continued its humanitarian efforts in Lebanon, dispatching three additional planes loaded with essential relief supplies, including medical aid, food, ambulances, and shelter equipment.

These flights are part of the ongoing national relief campaign, “The UAE Stands with Lebanon,” which began on October 8. Coordinated with key international organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the initiative aims to provide crucial support to those in need.

Launched under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the campaign is overseen by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, and H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Assistant Foreign Minister for Development and International Organizations, emphasized the UAE’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian work, showcasing the nation’s leadership in global aid efforts and its dedication to supporting the Lebanese people in times of crisis.
